Even today, most Irrigation Contractors and Designers entering the Landscape Business are quite often self educated through a process of Trial and Error. This process, which can sometimes be effective, often claims a high mortality rate in terms of plant survival. Unfortunately this Trial and Error process has somewhat tarnished the entire industry through the misdirected efforts of many well-meaning individuals.

Keeping this in mind, when choosing a Design Professional for your Commercial and Residential project, it is best to select someone with many years of field experience and knowledge.

With today’s demands on our water resources it is important to design a highly efficient Irrigation System with minimal waste.  A poorly designed Irrigation System can be obviously recognized when windows, wood work or paving start showing water damage by overspray. By this point it is too late.

Today, there are all kinds and types of Irrigation methods that can help overcome the inefficiencies of an Irrigation system:

  • Drip Irrigation delivers water directly to the plants roots.
  • If Spray Irrigation is needed, Micro Spray on Fixed Risers can be used with minimal precipitation rates and low volume for individual plants.
  • Rotary Spray Nozzles provide highly efficient water distribution by spraying anywhere from 13 to 24 feet (which means less nozzles to install) and have low precipitation rates, which reduces water waste.
  • Smart Controllers can determine just the right amount of water needed for your landscape, rather than overwatering.

For consumers with an old fashioned/standard irrigation system, conversion to an efficient water conserving irrigation system can be easily retrofitted and re-designed to utilize the same low volume irrigation system equipment and parts as discussed above.
