A thirty year veteran of the landscape design and planning industry, Forest Hill is a pioneer in the implementation of drought tolerant landscapes in the Southern California area. An expert in horticultural science, irrigation design and landscape conservation, he gained his early training in the Ornamental Horticulture program at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. As founder and president of Ontario, CA based Landscape Design Inc., his company serves government organizations, private builders, commercial developers and large scale utilities. Sought after for his expertise and implementation of native plantings, his company has completed projects for Southern California Edison, Queen of the Valley Hospital, Mission San Juan Capistrano, Cerritos Town Center and the Hard Rock Cafe. Hill recently formed Swan Drought Tolerant Technology, a wholly owned division that consults with clients seeking to reduce water consumption using high tech “smart” irrigation control systems.
